Tarragon - Mexican Tarragon

Tagetes lucida, Mexican tarragon is better suited to our Florida climate than the more common French Tarragon. It has a flavor and aroma similar to licorice.

When to Plant: In North and Central Florida it’s best to plant Tarragon in the early spring and in the early fall, these are the months of March and August. In South Florida, you have an extended planting season of October through February.
