Pepper - Sweet Banana

A long highlighter yellow pepper that is sweet and tangy. If left on the plant they become a nice reddish - yellowish - orangish color. I really enjoy what this pepper brings to a hot sauce.

When to Plant:

  • North Florida: February & July
  • Central Florida: February & July
  • South Florida: August - September

Planting instructions: Plant in a spot with full sun and well-draining soil. Give each plant 12-18” of space between each other. Sow directly into the garden or start transplants undercover. Plant seeds about ¼ “ deep and water regularly.

Germination time: 10 - 21 Days

Days to Maturity: 75 - 80 days

Number of seeds per pack: 18-25

My favorite seeds for Florida

I have had extremely good luck with high germination rates from all the seeds I have purchased from FLGardening! Right now, my peppers are doing well - putting on lots of blooms & beginning to grow peppers.
