Cucumber - Boston Pickling

An heirloom variety of cucumber plant that makes thin-skinned 3 to 7-inch long cucumbers that are great for pickling as the name suggests. 

Type: Heirloom

When to Plant: 

  • North Florida: August & March
  • Central Florida: August & March
  • South Florida: September - March

Planting instructions: Plant in a spot with full sun and well-draining soil. Give each plant 12” of space between each other. Sow directly into the garden or start transplants undercover. Plant seeds about ¼ “ deep and water regularly. 

Germination time: 3 - 10 Days

Days to Maturity: 65 - 75 days

Number of seeds per pack: 30-40
