Corn - Silver Queen
The most well known sweet corn. Sweet and white corn that matures late in the season. It is extremely tender and is bursting with flavor. Be sure to plant your corn in blocks. To produce corn, you need to plant multiple plants in order to help pollination.
Type: Hybrid , non heirloom
When to Plant:
- North Florida: February - April
- Central Florida: January - April
- South Florida: October - March
Planting instructions: Plant in a spot with full sun and well-draining soil. Give each plant 6-12” of space. Sow directly into the garden or start transplants undercover. Plant seeds about 1“ deep and water regularly.
Germination time: 7 - 10 Days
Days to Maturity: 80 - 90 days
Number of seeds per pack: 30-40
