Carrots - Scarlet Nantes
Scarlet Nantes carrots are a versatile carrot and are perfectly sweet. They appear just like any other standard carrot. Use them as normal for cooking or eating raw.
When to Plant:
- North Florida: September - January
- Central Florida September - January
- South Florida: September - January
Planting instructions: Plant in a spot with full sun and well-draining soil. Give each plant 1-2” of space between each other. It’s best to sow carrots directly into the garden. Plant seeds about ¼ “ deep and water regularly.
Germination time: 7 - 21 Days
Days to Maturity: 75 days
Number of seeds per pack: 30-40
