This pack is to be planted in the springtime for those gardeners that live in North and Central Florida. Those in South Florida will have a slightly different planting period. Read the When to Plant details (listed below) for the best time to plant these seeds in this pack in South Florida. 

All Vegetables and varieties recommended have been chosen because they are known to grow in the springtime in Florida’s unique climate. Each individual seed packet will contain between 30-50 seeds and you will receive 13 packets of seeds. 

This pack will be plenty of seeds for you to have a variety of whatever you would like in your garden. 

When to Plant: This package of seeds has been specifically designed for the Florida gardener to plant in the Springtime. This will have a slightly different meaning to you depending on where you live in the state. 

Those in North and Central Florida can begin starting transplants in February as long as you provide shelter from the cold that may roll in a few last times. These transplants can then be planted outside into the garden in March, once the fear of all frost is gone. 

Those in South Florida can plant most of these seeds earlier than the northern and central parts of the state. Those in South Florida can plant most of these seeds around August. South Florida has a more tropical climate when compared to the northern parts of the state. This provides more mild winters, and allows us to have an extended growing period.

Planting instructions: Plant seedlings in an area that gets at least 6-8 hours of full sun. Vegetables love the sun. Ensure the soil in the area has been amended in some way. Florida dirt is not ideal for vegetables. 

Germination time: Varies based on the plant.
