Thyme - German Winter Thyme

There are over 50 different types of thyme and most of them can grow here in Florida. You may see your plant struggle during the summer months but this is a perennial herb and can keep giving you spices for many years.

Type: Heirloom

When to Plant: In North and Central Florida it’s best to plant Thyme in the early spring and in the early fall, these are the months of March and August. In South Florida, you have an extended planting season of October through February.

Planting instructions: Plant in a spot with full sun and well-draining soil. Give each plant 12” of space between each other. You can sow directly in the garden or transplant seedlings. Plant seeds about ¼” deep and water regularly.

Germination time: 14-21 Days

Number of seeds per pack: 40+
