Planting instructions: Most herbs prefer to be in a spot with full sun and well-draining soil. Each plant has slightly different spacing guidelines but a general rule of thumb is about 1 foot of space per plant. You can sow directly in the garden or transplant seedlings. Plant seeds about ¼” deep and water regularly.

Slow Gardener

Hi Josh, I haven’t been able to get my seeds planted until this week. I use large pot's for my green veggies this month, I added veggies scraps, egg shells & coffee grounds to my bought soil. A few volunteer tomato plans are about 12 “ high. Soon as something comes up from your seeds I’ll send you a picture. Planted leaf lettuce, cabbage, kale. Going to plant a few herbs tomorrow on Saturday. I’m so excited to do a little gardening again, it’s been many years. I really thank you for helping us here in North Port, Florida, how to garden, I had no idea before. I only garden a bit in Ohio & Georgia. Thresa Beasley Sat. Sept. 2, 2023

Preliminary Review

All seeds planted are up and growing except for the chives. Which is disappointing.

Fresh herb garden

Planting went well. All but the chives sprung up nicely. Not sure what I did wrong. Had an abundance of basil to make batches of pesto. Parsley was super tasty.
