Pepper - Early Jalapeno

Probably the easiest pepper I have ever grown. These are heavy producers. If you’ve never grown your own Jalapenos, be ready for them to be much spicier than the store-bought ones you are used to.

Type: Heirloom

When to Plant:

  • North Florida: February & July
  • Central Florida: February & July
  • South Florida: August - September

Planting instructions: Plant in a spot with full sun and well-draining soil. Give each plant 12-18” of space between each other. Sow directly into the garden or start transplants undercover. Plant seeds about ¼ “ deep and water regularly.

Germination time: 10 - 21 Days

Days to Maturity: 75 - 80 days

Number of seeds per pack: 18-25

Early Jalapeño

The seeds are doing great in the starter cells. I can’t wait to get them into the garden space.
